CLEAR ACRYLIC ROOF & DECK SEALER
DESCRIPTION: A water-based coating that combines the gloss, clarity and weathering characteristics found in acrylics with the toughness and durability of epoxies. Clear Acrylic Roof & Deck Sealer complies with VOC anti-smog ordinances.
USES: Clear Acrylic Roof & Deck Sealer may be used as a seal or protective coat for indoor and outdoor deck surfaces such as Metacrylics Deck Systems, concrete, terrazzo, clay tile, stone tile, granite, stone, etc. The built-in resistance to water and oils make it the right product for decks, warehouses, driveways, garages, walls, etc.
COLOR: White, stable emulsion, dries clear. pH 8.0+1-0.2
COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION: Clear Acrylic Roof & Deck Sealer exceeds the Coefficient of Friction Safety Standard ASTM Designation D-2O47.

APPLICATION METHOD: Spray, mop, lambswool applicator, or roller
PACKAGE SIZES: 1, 5, and 55 gallon containers
THINNING: Thin with water.
CLEAN-UP: Clean tools and equipment with water . Cured material may be removed with amyl acetate, hand cleaner, or lacquer thinner. Do not use these materials (except hand cleaner) on bare skin.
STORAGE: Store in areas where temperature remains above 40oF. Prior to use agitate for 30 seconds by hand or machine. Reseal opened containers. If contents skin, remove skin, agitate, use immediately.
IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION:
DO NOT APPLY if rain or freezing weather is imminent within 24 hours following application, or during fog or drizzle. This product is water-based and could wash off if not fully cured.
PROTECT materials from freezing AND extreme heat.
DO NOT APPLY when temperatures are consistently below 40o F. The product dries slowly when temperatures are below 55o F. Shaded areas dry very slowly.
KEEP AWAY from children.
DO NOT thin or add solvents.
CAUTION! Wet acrylic is extremely slippery when stepped on. Use a safety rope around you on sloped surfaces.
ALWAYS STIR Clear Acrylic Roof & Deck Sealer before any application.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed and should be dry and free of dust, dirt and oily residues. Use TSP for fast efficient removal of dirt and oils. Do not seal over old floor seal or dirt. Etching of surface may be necessary if calcium salts are present. If etching is required, use properly diluted TSP. Always test an inconspicuous area prior to use. Remove loose rust from metal, and wipe new galvanized metal with acidic acid solution prior to application. New concrete must be fully cured.
SPRAY APPLICATION and COVERAGE RATES: If a spray application is desirable, Clear Acrylic Roof & Deck Sealer may be applied with a pump-up or high volume/low pressure sprayer or a lambs wool applicator pad. Paint rollers are not recommended, but can be used. Allow at least 30 minutes dry time per coat.

Decks:
1st coat: 1/8 gallon/100 sq. ft. Subsequent coats: 1/8 to 1/16 gallon/100 sq. ft.
New Concrete: (more than 7, but less than 90 days old; unsealed)
1st coat: 1/8 gallon/100 sq. ft. Subsequent coats: 1/8 to 1/16 gallon/100 sq. ft.
Old Concrete: (more than 90 days old; unsealed)
1st coat: 1/8 gallon/100 sq. ft. Subsequent coats: 1/8 to 1/16 gallon/100 sq. ft.
DRYING TIME: (at 68o F., 50% relative humidity):
Set to touch 30 minutes
Recoat: 1 to 2 hours. Ready for light traffic: 8 to 12 hours after final coat. Vehicle/heavy traffic: 2 to 3 days after final coat
TOXICOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Skin Contact: Repeated exposure and washing may irritate the skin.
Eye Contact: Liquid, mists and vapors can irritate the eyes.
Inhalation: Mists and vapors developed during spray application ventilation may cause upper respiratory irritation.
Ingestion: May cause dizziness, nausea and abdominal pains.
Carcinogenicity:Not considered a carcinogen by IARC, NIP or OSHA.
Other: Contains Ethylene Glycol. Extreme exposures to mists, vapors or ingestion of large amounts may cause liver, kidney, red blood cell damage or central nervous system depression.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Ventilation: General ventilation is normally adequate.
Respiratory: If use conditions create vapors or mists, or limited
Inhalation: is available, a NIOSH approved organic
mask with a dust/mist pre-filter is recommended.
Clothing: Long sleeved coveralls, rubber gloves and safety shoes are recommended.
Eyes: Goggles are recommended for spray application.
Other: Wash hands and face thoroughly before eating or
handling food.
