	STEP 1: Preparation of Asphalt Be sure surface to be sealed is clean, dry and free of dust. If parking stalls have oil and dust build-up, scrape clean by using an oil removal product or by burning excess oil off surface.
	STEP 2: Filling Asphalt Cracks Inspect for cracks 1/8 inch or wider. Fill with undiluted Plastic Sealer and let dry. For large cracks 1/4" or larger, mix 1 part #30 mesh sand (silica) with 3 parts Plastic Sealer to make a pourable slurry. Pour in cracks.
	STEP 3: Mixing Water and Plastic Sealer Dilute Plastic Sealer concentrate with water in a ratio of 2 parts Plastic Sealer to 1 part water. Stir or circulate before use. Do not apply if threat of rain exists.
	STEP 4: Application of Plastic Sealer Apply Plastic Sealer by pouring a small amount on the asphalt pavement and spread by use of a large soft bristled broom or a 1/2" nap paint roller (the broom is much faster). One gallon of diluted Plastic Sealer will cover from 60-100 square feet, depending on the pavement surface condition. Do not allow to puddle. On larger jobs, standard spray pots or a distributor truck should be used.
	STEP 5: Drying Time Plastic Sealer is an elastomeric emulsion and brown in color when applied. As the water evaporates, Plastic Sealer turns to a very black finish. Avoid any kind of traffic, including foot traffic, until the sealed area is no longer "tacky" enough to be picked up on your hand or shoe. Usually, 8 hours is adequate, depending on the weather conditions. Sprinkle sand on areas that must be driven on before fully cured to prevent pickup.
	Important Application Information: * DO NOT APPLY products if rain is imminent within 24 hours, or during fog or drizzle. Metacrylics products are water-based and could wash off if not fully cured. * PROTECT materials from freezing and extreme heat. DO NOT APPLY when temperatures are below 40° F. * The Acrylic White dries slowly when temperatures are below 55° F. Dark colors dry much faster. Areas shaded from sunlight dry very slowly. 72 hours or more may be required for proper curing. * DO NOT THIN or add solvents. * KEEP AWAY from children. * CAUTION! Wet acrylic is extremely slippery when stepped on. Use a safety rope around you on sloped surfaces. * ALWAYS STIR the Metacrylics Primer before any application. Do not stir the Gel. Usually, the Base & Acrylic Colors do not need to be stirred. * Wash up completely with water, abrasive hand cleaner, or cold cream and a fibered wash cloth. Remove dried materials from hands and clothing as soon as possible.
