thank you for all of the excellent advice you’ve given me through
the years. I have many fine jobs using your superb products and
many satisfied (and repeat) customers. Of all the roof and deck
jobs I’ve done with your system I’ve only had one leak when we couldn’t
determine the cause, my foreman called your company to find out
if we may have made an error in application. He told me that
Mark Anthenien came out to our job site, and after examining the
deck, found our work to be exemplary and discovered that a nearby
scupper was probably the cause of the leak and suggested a way
to effect repair. The scupper was in fact the problem and the repair
worked. My foreman, my customers and I were all very impressed
and pleased that you take such personal care in standing behind
your products. I will be your customer for life. Also, I will be
doing a job in August where I will be coating existing and worn
asphalt shingles and I would appreciate any advice or suggestions

"I am writing this letter to say how pleased
we are with the performance of your Metacrylics products over the
past eight years. As you know, our facilities are instrument landing
systems, air to ground communications, long and short range radar,
navigational aids, air traffic control towers, tracons, and centers

"I would like to
thank you and your staff for helping Opera San Jose solve a perplexing
problem. Our building had a several lap joints in the rain gutters
that had come unsoldered. Water leaking inside the building facade
was causing serious damage to the structure. Several attempts had
been made to patch the leaks with butyl type materials. Evidently
the expansion and contraction of the ninety foot long gutters was
more than the such products could handle. To replace these built
in gutters would have been very expensive. Fortunately we discovered
Metacrylics The joints were cleaned of previous sealing material
and given your '933-Course' process. The gutters still expand and
contract, but the Metacrylic material we applied formed a tough
flexible patch which absorbs these dimensional changes without coming
loose or cracking. It has solved our problem, no leaks. In addition
to the gutter leaks our building also had some cracks in the poured
concrete exterior walls that leaked during heavy rains. The cracks
were primed with your primer, given a coat of Metacrylics gel, then
top coated with a color coat of regular latex paint to match the
building. The leaks were fixed, and the repair is almost invisible.

"Twenty
years ago I built my houseboat, using an elastomeric roof paint product
for the curving and deck like roof. Subsequently the original roof
was painted with a non elastomeric roof paint product so that five
years ago all trouble broke loose, a joint started breaking up between
the two surfaces at critical junctures. At that time my repairs person
consulted with you, and applied your 3 part system to the problem
areas, after which we repainted the entire roof with your paint product.
This was a great solution! Only this summer did a small leak appear
along a seam which we will now repair with your products. Also, living
on the water calls for keeping a row boat on hand. When the interior
needed repainting a year or so ago, I used your paint as well, and
it has worked just fine on a surface that works very hard.

Whom It May Concern, Berg & Berg Developers -first experience with
Metacrylic’s roofing products occurred in 1982. The existing roof
on our building at 1212 Bordeaux, in Sunnyvale, California was badly
deteriorated and failing. There was some doubt as to whether or
not a new roof could be installed over the existing roof due to
the extent of some of the defects. Despite these challenges the
Metacrylics Acrylic/Polyester Roof System has been outstanding.
Metacrylic’s products have proven to be more economical than alternative
systems and have solved our problems. We have also found Metacrylics

"Last
summer I installed (DIY) a new Metacrylics brand roof on the flat
top/parapets/low-slope section of the tops of our house and garage.
The work was not difficult, it was messy. The new roof went on over
old grit-faced roll roofing which had simply been well-swept; a
couple of bad spots were repaired per Metacrylics’ directions. One
real advantage was that the material can be run smoothly up-and-over
to insure that a membrane/flashing is created. Since our roof butted
against a chimney without a cricket (where are the building inspectors?),
this characteristic of the materials was a terrific asset. We live
overlooking the ocean, have had several extreme storms since the
roof was completed, haven’t seen any sign of problems. The manufacturer
(Metacrylics, mc, San Jose, CA) was very helpful, did an on-site
inspection for the guarantee, and will provide you with lots of
info for the asking. Cost was not cheap, but a whole lot less than
any of several local roofing contractors wanted for traditional-material
roofs--which they were then unwilling to warrant because of our
“unusual” application! "

to paint and treat my deck. The walking deck had lots of problems
with the sun, water, oil, fog, and dust (acid rain) here in San
Francisco. Now, you can see my beautiful deck has been coated (painted);
this is the 3rd rain of this season (pictured close-up) and it still
looks absolutely beautiful. By the way, my studio is underneath
this walking deck, so you can see how important it is to me, that

"Dear Metacrylics,
Thank you for your great product! Our pool is 60 years old, 25’
x 50’ concrete over soil and a mess of cobweb crevices! We attempted
to rectify this for two consecutive years with standard methods
with leakage after a couple of months!! A very dear friend from
England happened to work on a project during a brief stay in the
U.S. and they used the Metacrylics system! He suggested we try it.
He felt (he’s a chemist) that there was no reason that the acrylic
material he was using wouldn't work. So we called you..............
It has been fantastic! .... absolutely not a drop of leakage! .....
and no signs of a single crack after 3 years! When we emptied the
pool recently, the Metacrylics System felt as hard and solid as
the concrete! The only reason we emptied the pool was to see what
was happening under the surface and to change the color because
it did fade a little from exposure to the chlorine.
